These past two weeks have had its ups and downs.
On August 24, 2009, Will had his first day of kindergarten. Kindergarten was a big adjustment, but he has done really well. We've had our first weekly homework assignments where we read a book every night, learning sight words, and coming up with items that start with the letter W and pasting them to the W.
He has also started his piano lessons. We have had two lessons so far and the teacher says he is doing well in it.
Emily, has also been taking dance lessons on Tuesdays. She has ballet for 30 minutes and tap for 30 minutes. She is really enjoying tap lessons more I think.
On a sad note, Edward's grandfather who was 98 years old passed away on Sunday morning. He was ready to go see the Lord and his beautiful wife, and son. He will surely be missed by our family.
Thursday, September 3, 2009, we will be celebrating Will's 6th birthday. We plan on eating out at Beef O'Brady's for supper with the family and opening family presents.
